The owners of Oval Gallery discussed how to get our art accepted into galleries

OCTOBER

We spent all our time on final preparations for our first National exhibition.

NOVEMBER

Everyone who attended Maggie Price’s workshops brought paintings to share.

MARCH

Phyllis Billingsly who owns an Interior Design business discussed what customers look for in art for their homes.

FEBRUARY

George Chambers of Chambers studio spoke about the process of giclee printing and showed examples of prints that he produces for artists.

MAY

The May meeting was a paint out at Garvin Gardens in Hot Springs, AR

JUNE

Mary Ann Stafford discussed drawing techniques with the members.

DECEMBER

We elected new officers for 2006 and discussed our some of our dreams and goals for the coming year.

SEPTEMBER

The meeting featured an excellent pastel demonstration by Mike Mahon

2005 was a busy year for a brand new pastel society. Someone said we accomplished so much because we didn’t know we couldn’t do it.
