THEA Foundation Nominations - Arkansas high school seniors, GED students and high school students sign up NOW for the 2010 THEA Foundation Scholarship competition. Beginning this year, a new category for scholarships will be in film, bringing the total number of scholarships to twenty-four totaling sixty thousand dollars. Scholarship categories: 10 visual arts; 4 in film, 10 performing arts. All competitions are based on talent and judged by professionals associated with the arts. The competitions are inclusive with no grade point, test score or major requirements to enter and win scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $4,000. Students are not required to major in art, but can apply the scholarships toward the college major of their choice. For information visit the THEA website; www.theafoundation.org.
